English for Academic and Professional Purposes is essential for students because this will give them knowledge on how to write academic papers professionally and this can also help them enhance their English proficiency.

11 STEM 1 - STATISTICS & PROBABABILITY
STEM

The course deals with developing the students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills through basic concepts of statistics, random variables and probability distributions, normal distribution, sampling and sampling distributions, estimation of parameters, tests of hypothesis, correlation and regression analyses. At the end of the course, the students will be able to determine, analyze and interpret basic concepts of statistics, random variables and probability distributions, normal distribution, sampling and sampling distributions, estimation of parameters, tests of hypothesis, correlation and regression analyses for them to be a God loving, intelligent, disciplined, creative, productive and nationalistic individuals.

11 STEM 9 - PRE CALCULUS
STEM

This course deals with the key concepts of analytic geometry, series and mathematical induction, and trigonometry. It includes the study of conic sections, and system of nonlinear equations, and curricular fractions, trigonometry identities, inverse trigonometry functions, and the polar coordinate system as applied in critical thinking, problem solving, communicating and making connections, representation and decision. At the end of the course, the students must be able to apply concepts and solve problem solving conic sections, nonlinear equations, series and mathematical induction, circular and trigonometry functions, trigonometry identities, and polar coordinate system to actualize the school’s core values of discipline, creativity, productivity and intelligence.
