Grade 6

The subject Mathematics 6 deals with the mastery of the four fundamental operations of whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. It includes the study of fractions, decimals including money, ratio, percent, geometry, measurement and graphs; exact and estimated computation of the four fundamental operations on rational numbers including money and measurement. At the end of the course the students will demonstrate deep understanding and appreciation of key concepts skills involving rational numbers, fractions, measurement, geometric figures and graphs; and apply these skills in critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, communicating, making connections, representations and decisions in real life to actualize the school’s core values of discipline, creativity, productivity and intelligence.
