CAREGIVING 10
Grade 10

       I.            DESCRIPTION:

This course consists of core competencies that a learner must achieve. This course is designed to develop knowledge, skills and attitude to provide health care. The course covers food preparation (hot and cold meals) in relation to caregiving as prescribed in the TESDA Training Regulation.

COOKERY 10
Grade 10

The subject Cookery 10 deals with the key concepts and principles of providing knowledge, skills and attitudes in the performance of Cookery tasks. It covers core competencies namely: preparation of egg dishes; preparing of cereals and cereals dishes; preparing vegetables dishes; preparation and cooking of seafood dishes; preparation of stocks, sauces and soups; preparation of poultry dishes and preparation and cooking meat. At the end of the course the students will apply and perform the core competencies to actualize the school’s core values of discipline, creativity, productivity and intelligence.

MATHEMATICS 10
Grade 10

This course deals with the understanding of ideas, key concepts and principles of patterns and algebra (sequences, series, polynomials, polynomial equations, and polynomial functions); geometry (circles and coordinate geometry); and statistics and probability (combinations and probability, and measures of position) as applied - using appropriate technology - in critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, communicating, making connections, representations and decisions in real life. At the end of the course the students will apply the concepts and principles of patterns and algebra, geometry and statistics and probability in critical thinking and solving problems to actualize the school’s core values of discipline, creativity, productivity and intelligence.
