This course will cover the workings, operations and the integrative activities of major stakeholders
in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. The student will also gain knowledge on managing and marketing a service-oriented
business organization. Apart from the scope and structure of travel organizations, it provides an in-depth study of the nature
and distinctive characteristics of each sector of the entire tourism industry, focusing on the management, organization and
planning of specific business strategies for the various entities in the local setting. This will also involve the analysis of the
possible impacts of external factors and trends on the different tourism industry sectors and specific types of businesses. It
will also look into client profiling such as travel motivations and influences as it relates to aligning strategic and tactical
solutions to the business. The course also identifies the employment opportunities available in each sector and the
corresponding qualifications for the job.

Ang kursong Pagbasa at Pagsulat Tungo sa Pananaliksik ay isang kursong pampagkatuto na naglalayong mapaunlad ang kasanayan ng mga estudyante sa masusing pagbasa at pagsusuri ng mga teksto, at sa pagpapalawak ng kanilang kakayahan sa pagsulat ng mga akdang may kinalaman sa pananaliksik. Ang kursong ito ay isang mahalagang bahagi ng kurikulum sa kolehiyo, partikular sa mga mag-aaral na nag-aaral ng mga agham panlipunan, edukasyon, komunikasyon, at iba pang disiplina na nangangailangan ng kritikal na pagsusuri at sistematikong pagsulat.
The three-unit subject provides the students with critical perspectives on understanding and ways of knowing popular culture in the Philippines. The course emphasizes popular culture through the study of Cultural Studies with a strong focus on the culture industry. The course provides multidisciplinary attention to how art can be explored in popular culture and vice versa. This will take place by having an introductory survey on aesthetics, critical theory, and art criticism. This subject will provide students with the necessary tools for analysis on exploring the diverse forms of arts by utilizing the everyday contexts of power, mode of production, representations, and subjectivity as critical tropes. Pop Culture will be fleshed out through mixed media cultures such as visual culture, geography, cinema, music/sound, popular prints and publications, radio and television, fashion, ads, cyberspace, experience economy, etc., and look at how these cultural products imitate the contemporary social relations and life specifically, the affect, feelings and senses, corporeality, performances, space and place, technology, globalization, and identities.
This course deals with nature of mathematics, appreciation of its practical, intellectual, and aesthetic dimensions, and application of mathematical tools in daily life.
